Me: I think I will make nifty edible things for Halloween/Day of the Dead. Like sugar skulls! I have everything I need, including the meringue powder (which I got Sunday) and the fancy paste food colors for the icing (which I have had forever)! Oh, but I am not sure what colors I have and what colors I do not have, I should check the set and see.
Paste food color set: I have no black. Other than that, we're in pretty good shape.
Me: Okay, that's fine, I can just go to Larry's this weekend and buy so--
My fingers: *are blue*
Me: ...bzuh?
Bottom of the little box containing the paste food color jars: *is covered with blue goop*
Me: Uh-oh...
Jar of blue paste food color: Whoops! My bad.
Me: >( *adds blue paste food color to shopping list, goes to scour fingers with steel wool*
[two hours and much scrubbing later]
My fingers: *are still blue*
