rar eet motherboard
Feb. 12th, 2002 07:55 pmI have, in my hand, a P2-400 processor. A cow-orker let me take it home today to make sure it works before I give him money for it.
I have, in my computer, an Intel AL440LX motherboard.
Which, as it turns out, only speaks to P2's up to 333. It might deign to accept a Celeron 400, but only if I have the right BIOS version, which I'm not sure I do, as I never really paid attention to that on boot. I will next time.
And now, I bag the 400 back up and stick it back in my bag to take back tomorrow. And weep.
