A bit of explanation: we have a huge screaming honking P4 box sitting up front to show off to customers. It has, at present, about 15G of a 20G hard drive free. I have gotten the go-ahead from Boss to stick Linux on it. He wanted to put Dead Rat on, mainly because we supposedly had it lying around here somewhere. I, having never successfully set any breed of Linux up anywhere, decided SuSE would probably be a smarter move.
Problem is, SuSE's FTP keeps going off to take a whiz somewhere. Or maybe it's my end, who knows, but it's about to drive me nuts.
