Today, I dropped the vast majority of my pittance on Reliant Energy in hopes that they would not shut my power off in a few days.
Saw a gaggle of people dressed to go to Ren Fest at Fiesta, was reminded that I will not be able to go this year, as tomorrow is the last day and we are broke.
Came home, decided to play some Star Ocean 2 to calm down.
It was not on top of the TV where I left it when I last played it. Nor was it on the coffee table, on the other coffee table, hiding in the sofa cushions, on the bookshelf, on the entertainment center, or anywhere else in the living room.
I then remembered that I'd needed Xenogears to rip a picture of Krelian's bare ass for Ashlea, so that she could use it in her lovely series of skins featuring butts, a few weeks ago, and it was MIA as well.
Upon further search of the living room, I discovered that Final Fantasy VII and Anthology were likewise missing.
The only two games of mine (note italics, this will come into play in a moment) that are completely present and accounted for are Tekken 2 (was out of case on top of computer) and Parasite Eve 2 (ditto). Disc 1 of FF7 is on the other computer; the rest is gone.
Four games missing. Two of which are my favorites.
Funny, none of ex-Mate's favorite games are missing, even though he leaves them out in plain view just like I did. He swears he didn't touch them. I'm not so sure, but unless I find a receipt from GameProz, I can't prove it.
FUCK! Folks, this is the last fucking thing I need.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to crawl ewwBay for a cheap copy of SO2.
