1. Rothko Chapel is, without question, the most beautiful, spiritual place I have ever set foot in. To hear it described, it doesn't sound all that great. Stone floor, four plain wooden benches in a square, three black meditation cushions, big huge black panels hung on the walls, diffused light coming from a skylight. Not a speck of stained glass. Not a single icon-of any faith--anywhere in sight. I could literally spend all day therein. Trust me on this one.
2. This is the first night in about two weeks I have not come home with a headache.
