The Rock's Sarge is robotically boring for most of the movie before turning callously dogmatic about his mission, a scenario in which he's still boring.

Okay, show of hands. Did anyone actually expect the Doom movie to be good?

But it doesn't even look like the entertaining kind of "bad." Y'know, like The Doom Comic. That was bad. But it was at least funny. No, this just looks bad.
