chaobellDidn't think I'd need to use my tech fu at home so soon.
DVD drive and Zip drive aren't detected on boot. It's happened before; rebooting usually fixed it before, but not now. In fact, they don't even seem to be getting power. Opening the case confirms it--they're hooked onto the same connection.
There's one more plug free; I could, if I feel like unhooking all this shit and opening the case again, just unplug the Zip drive and hook the DVD drive onto the remaining plug, but I think I will be needing to order a new power supply.
To those of you with more tech fu than me: does this sound about right to you? Far as I can tell, that's the only thing that could make them both stop working at the exact same time.
