I’ve been meaning to make an actual post to spread the joy I have found on the Internet Archive since a random /x/-phile posted a request for creepy music and I dropped a couple of links, because I know this is also relevant to the interests of some of you out there.

Here are some gems I’ve found. Basically, if you like Silent Hill soundtracks, you will like this stuff.

• Agla, “VIII”. Inspired by Asian horror movies, so says the blurb.
• Pretty much everything in the Amduscias Records collection. Particularly anything therein by Rose Red. Particularly “Childhood Traumas” 1 and 2.
• Sublinear, “Pinned Beneath the Boiling Sky.” Kind of movie-soundtracky, particularly “Our Weapons Are Useless Against Them” which would be great in a kind of comedic zombie movie.

I need to cruise through there again when I have time and sufficient Intarwebs to leech more stuff.

There’s also the “horror” section of Incompetech’s royalty free music collection.
