chaobellAfter a couple months' hiatus, I picked up Ultima Underworld 2 again today.
1. After making friends with Blog and threatening Dorstag with him, life in the Pits of Carnage became much sweeter. Who's your daddy now, beeatches?
2. Lots of magical weapons and armor in Praecor Loth's tomb == Good.
3. Lots of magical weapons and armor from Praecor Loth's tomb, taken back to the Pits of Carnage for whoopass-dispensing == very Good.
4. I told you Patterson was a slimeball. At least he's dead now.
5. Praecor Loth's three buddies can eat me. Morphius was tough. Lord Umbria was tougher. It took me the better part of two days of An Corp Mani + a few quick whacks with a sword + haul ass + nap + repeat to kill Lethe, plus a hunt-and-gather expedition after he (she?) broke my shield and helm. You better have my fuckin' Flam rune, bitch. What's this? Black sword of Unsurpassed Accuracy belonging to a liche? Not anymore! Gimme that!
6. Now that I have my friggin' Flam rune, Reapers == bonfire fuel.
7. Two of my savegame names: "I hate the Void" and "I REALLY hate the Void."
8. Did I mention that I hate the Void? I can't see where I'm going, there's no map, there are skulls and eyeballs and shit flying around, and it's generally like being on really bad acid.
