So some fucking douchebag who apparently has entirely too much free fucking time on his useless fucking hands filed a DMCA takedown notice on my Gallery. To which Dreamhost reacted not by notifying me that someone claimed OMG COPYRITE INFRINGMUNT about something on my website and giving me the chance to remove the infringing content myself, but by taking it upon themselves to rename the directory where my gallery lives and BREAK THE DAMN THING.

So I found and removed the infringing content (the hard way because again, Dreamhost BROKE MY FUCKING GALLERY INSTALL), because it was not worth making a federal fucking issue out of. Do you know why it was not worth making a federal fucking issue out of?

Yes, apparently this asshole has nothing better to do than file DMCA takedown notices for MOTIVATOR MACROS WITH PICTURES OF BACON ON THEM.

But you know what, I do not have the time or energy to deal with filing a goddamn DMCA counter-notification over a goddamn bacon motivator. So I deleted it. And made good and sure to attach the ~*infringing file*~ to the angry e-mail I sent Dreamhost about this stupid bullshit.

I have said it before and I will say it again. If there is something on my website that you think belongs to you, ASK ME TO REMOVE IT LIKE A MOTHERFUCKING ADULT, DON’T HIDE BEHIND A FUCKING DMCA NOTICE.
